Of Rantings and Boasting

Wow.. It's been so long i last post anything eh.. My blog is practically in the ICU for a few months de.. If my blog is a diary, it probably gt lost somewhere.. Thx technology...

Well, this post won't talk much either.. It's mostly just to keep my blog alive and well, rant a bit.. In a few weeks time, i'll be sitting for my finals. With assignments and tests coming, there is really no time to slack now. What's worse, i look at one of the past year paper, i have no clue what to answer.. OMG!!

Enough rantings.. Don't wanna talk bout it so much.. Just spoil the mood only. Now to boasting.. XD

There is a performance by the UTP demo team for the ChemE High Tea. Well, since it's our first demo on stage, no doubt there is a few mistakes here and there.. But overall, i think we did great.. Probably it's the choice of song and dance that makes the crowd go crazy.. Feel a bit embarrassed that time.. Oww man, need to get the video and upload it soon..

P.S. There's probably another demo before the semester ends..

Oh ya, and a thousand congratulations to my cousin, Jan Er and her newly wed hubby, Kwong Boon. A lovely picture of them..

I'm 19 now..

This year birthday is pretty memorable.. All thanks to the friends back here in rawang that make it happen..

It all started with a phone call from my one of my fren.. She asked me where am i? This is the 1st hint. Ok, so i played along.. Not long after, another fren of mine call again to confirm where am i since i usually travel to and fro from my grandma house to my house.. Then, another fren of mine call me to go out "yum cha" or to put it in english, drink tea, a term we use to go hang out it some stall to bull crap..

The surprise starts here, they actually, planned it near my housing area. that really surprise me.. they even had a cake. a blueberry cheese cake from secret recipe.. these frens sure know how to spend.. haha.. but anyway, i really am touched.. thanks guys and gals..

Then, we go to Rawang's best hangout place, McDonalds.. we sat down, talk some bulls**t till a little over 12.30am.. i know it's still early, bt, the next day, some of us are going to Sunway Pyramid. Anyway, the messed up part of this is we hang around McD for about 1 and a half hours without ordering anything from the counter.. yes, u hear me rite, we bought nothing from McD that nite. Jz crash their place and eat the cake they bought for us.. Lucky they didnt chase us out..

The next morning like i said earlier we went to sunway pyramid for some ice-skating.. Hmm, the last time i ice-skate is probably when im 7 or 8 years old, anyway, it's still more than a decade that i skate..

The part here is a bit disrespectful to the ladies here.. haha.. anyway, for some good laugh, i did manage to spot some pretty girls too (even if there is leng lui skating wif u, doesnt mean u cant look at other.. :p).. then, there is an instructor who is pretty, slim, proportionally-shaped who practically had made ice-skating her 2nd nature (the 1st is living, duh!) wow.. to be expected from a pro... sorry everyone, didnt manage to take a video..

After some skating, we had our lunch at BBQ plaza.. After eating, we went for some window-shopping. I of course, went to look for my futsal shoe to replace the one i lost, T.T

I went to al-Ikhsan, found it only to realize they ran outta stock on my feet size.. he says, wat bout a different size? omg.. how about we negotiate my foot size? f*** off... if tat fella said "wat about a different model", i woundnt be so pissed off.. c'mon salesman out there, when u gt an interested buyer, pursuade him another model if there is no size or watever reason.. try and get their money.. i get outta the shop straight away.. i buy from shop which serves me well.. then, i went to the adidas sports shop. found it too, bt, slightly overprice.. well, i still gt time till next month.. wat's the rush.. get outta shop then.. studio-r, well, they have it for football but not futsal. haiz.. out then.. in the end, i didnt bought anything that day..

Before going back, they gimme me a present. A pen engraving my name on it.. A well thought-out present.. Thanks everyone..

In the night, i had dinner with my family to celebrate my birthday. It's a day late (saturday) cz we wanna celebrate with everyone..

Once again, a millian thanks to my family and friends whom make my 19th birthday memorable..

It's rite after STE.. barely had time to rest.. bt, surprisingly not tired.. maybe the thoughts of having fun excites me..


Hmm.. A typical journey there.. need not talk much bout it.. we reached the apartment around 7sumting pm.. do a little bit of cleaning and relax a while playing cards and rummy.. well, it's only around 10sumting pm tat we feel a bit hungry.. lol... time to look for foods... dragon is growling ba...

since it's not really that early anymore, and we were too lazy to look so far, we ended up eating at a malay food court..

Had our foods.. chat a while and mosquitos attack our legs.. so, we leave lo.. to the beach.. oh yeah... while driving to the beach, jen han suddenly go over the other side of the road.. whoa.. scare the crap outta us.. figuratively speaking... dun worry... no one is hurt during this trip..

walk around the beach, play the sands.. didnt really play the water la.. jz let the waves wash up to our feet oni... and, so it's time to go back to the apartment... bt b4 that, we visit the 7-11 shop.. u guys out there don't go think sumthing else k.... v all are decent fellas... buy some beverages and go back to the apartment. thats all..

it's around 11.30 d.. well, it's no point sleeping so early since this is a vacation.. so, v continue with our rummy and "chor dee".. no money is involved. DECENT ba...this is practically the atmosphere in the apartment that nite..

we chat and chat and chat till late nite, all craps and history is being told.. ah... catch up time... it's till after 3am that some of us only start to feel sleepy that we stopped.. probably im tired due to the STE and then straight for the this trip, i fell asleep almost immediately. next morning comes so early.. at around 10am, we guys (sleeping in a different room) were woken up by 2 noisy girls..

well, v took our time lo.. brushing teeth and stuff.. preparing for day 2.. our breakfast start with eating roti sardin.. walauwei.. RM3.50 sial... UTP mia only RM2.00 ar.. after had our breakfast, we went for a stroll at "dunno where". anyway, there, eddy and me bought a pair of sunglasses.. man, we choose like 15 minutes only to realize there is better choice inside the shop.. and the shop assisstant didnt help as well...

We went back to the apartment then.. played some game of truth or dare.. wakakaka.. eddy choose dare where he need to shout "saya suka tengok perempuan" outside the apartment.. the messed up part is there is an auntie hanging clothes at another block of apartment.. this idea is all thanks to the U students where they shout the exact same thing the night before at the beach..

all good things needs to come to an end.. it's time to say farewell to this trip.. before travelling back, we had seafood for our dinner.

And so, that is our PD trip.. The gap of lost time had been bridged.. Though by end of the day, it's pretty tired, it's totally worth it...

Soaring the Eagle

The 2nd week of my sem break is possibly my most hectic week during the holidays.. Why? Well, it's because of STE and another trip right after STE.

STE was really amazing. The only unsatisfied area is the lodging.. 6 guys cramp into a room with 3 double-decker beds.. Don't get me started with the size of the room. There is hardly space for us to walk about..

Putting lodging aside, im really satisfied. Not only me, even my "dragon" is happy. The food is marvelous with each day a different theme so that we don't feel bored with the same type of food.. Not to mention chances of meeting new friends. The activities i thought to be boring turns out to be really interactive. I actually enjoys them.

The sharing session brought several of us to tears though.. haiz.. lost my cool... anyway, im not afraid to admit that.. yes, i shed quite some tears.. :p

The only thing I regret is that i didnt took a camera with me to take all these memorable moments.. Oh well, this gimme a reason to get to know people with cameras.. hehehe.. well, this part, i guess only ste batch 2 fellas will know wat im talking bout.

Then, i also had the chance to host the last night for the singing competition.. Hosting with me is Puven.. Well, i guess both of us did quite a hell of a job.. To be honest, i think the singing competition isnt the main event.. The main event starts when the dance floor is open.. Woohoo.. The atmosphere is really high.. REALLY HIGH.. We practically dance till exhaustion. Almost everyone present dance.. Grinding, Twitching even shuffling were performed on the dance floor.. At one point, even the DJ Ozy step on stage.. An indescribale feeling of awesomeness that nite is...

Well, what more can I say.. Hmm.. Yes, a perfect end to this programme.. "STE is LEGEN- wait for it... -DARY"
