CNY '09

This year CNY is pretty amusing.. For starters, it's the 1st year my family members didn't *ahem* play cards to put it in better manner of speaking. XD.. then, there is also the fact it's my 1st CNY after entering utp.. Many cousins ask bout where am i studying and etc... Not to mention it's also my 1st time wearing such a "formal" shirt for this festival... well, needless to say, bro's i steal the limelight... Wakaka... Probably next year will be the same as well... Heck, of cz it'll be a new shirt....

Of cz.. not to be forgotten my friends.. Well, my hometown friends anyway.. My uni frens, let's jz say they don't live the same area as i am... Anyway, it's the 3rd day of CNY if I'm not mistaken.. XD.. We all hang out almost half a day... Probably the Lady Luck's smile shine on me that day.. I totally vapourise their coins.. Wakaka... Guys and gals, don't need to thanks me for lighten ur purses and wallet.. I'm glad to do so... Of cz, my childhood fren, Eddy oso slaughter quite an amount from them too... We duo totally rocks the day.. Oso need to thanks the friends who allow us to party crash their homes...

By end of the CNY, I had pretty much fun with family and friends.. Not to mention my expenses in UTP for this month has been compensated from the angpow income.. Yup, it's one of the many good things during CNY especially when u r living on ur own...

Back in UTP..

Here starts the 2nd chapter of my university life... Too "who may concern ^_^", ahem ahem... well, i got back my old room.. As usual like last sem, i didn't have the chance to go online.. so, i am basically MIA from the messenger lately.. This is my report to you... Haha..

The day i gt back in UTP was an early one.. I reached around 9.30am and disturbed my roommate's dream... Haha.. Sorry, Edmund.. ^^

Set that aside, i pretty much enjoy my time here at the moment.. Back to the first day, well, my leg is itching to be back in the futsal court.. umm.. the day is pretty boring cause it's all packing and moving in, so, why don't i skip to the futsal part... haha..

ok.. it's our first futsal game of the sem.. time to put my shoe to her first test.. yes.. it's a "she".. haha.. heck.. there not only me.. there is a few of us bringing their "new shoe" as well.. there is a Puma, Nike and yours truly, Adidas in the court.. hehe... in our 1st game, i scored a hat-trick (3 goals) and assist 2.. Seeing how the record speaks for itself, it's money well spend.. to my mum and dad, hehe.. the shoe is still like a new shoe.. don't worry.... well, that night, my leg is pretty sore not to mention i am really worn out.. after all it's been 2 months since i last exercise and i wake up early this morning...

now, the 1st day of the sem.. hearing my friends who came back early, there is no eye-catching "ones" around.. if u know what i mean.. but, still I'm tempted to see for myself.. ":p gome ne...." well my friends were right.. "daijobu" after the lectures, we went back our room by 5pm.. well, i thought of having a nap 1st but, there is a change in plan when my friend greet me in front of my room..

friend: hey, wan go futsal?
me: leg pain la... but wat da heck, let's go..

well, what i said is pretty stupid.. no no.. it's not the game.. tat game, i scored 2 and assist 3.. oh yeah.. i know I'm good (ss-ing) but it's what comes later... my leg is so sore that it's hurts just to walk.. (it's just the acid.. normal...) 2 futsal games in in 2 days.. that's Monday... and in the night i and my friend went for an outing.. we had pretty much fun...

on Tuesday, there is nothing much happen other than going out to eat at kampung bali... a Chinese village near our campus.. let's just say we had around 5 cars and needed 3 tables to fit all of us... wow.. it's like a university version of a CNY reunion dinner... and there is a few who didn't come back yet (from east Malaysia) to utp.. if not maybe we will need 4 tables.. @.@

on Wednesday, today, we finished early.. only 2 hours of lecture... and free till tomorrow.. well, there is likely a futsal game in the evening (provided it didnt rain) and my leg still sores a bit.. but don't worry.. i will take care of myself... anyway, i can still be reachable using my phone... u all can keep me in touch with that...

The Grand Spend

It's been a while since I last update my blog.. Seriously, there isn't anything interesting enough to be put in the blog.. So, i might as well sum up this few week in an entry... Don't get me wrong though. I still enjoy the holidays for I know I'll be miserable when I'm back to books. Well, like the title suggest, this post is mainly bout what i spent during this holiday. I know, i know it will be a boring entry.. But hey, what use is a blog if i don't update it often..

As you all know, i had bought an external hard disk. Well, the spending didn't end there.. On a Sunday (forgot which one though), we had a family outing to go shop for new year cloths.. This is something interesting actually. Not the shopping part (people who knows me knows shopping isn't my style) but getting there. My parents went for a dinner the night before and we were supposed to meet them the next day. Anyway, we go to KL using KTM.. Well, i guess the phrase "wrong place at the wrong time" is what happen next. There is a raid on the KTM by the police demanding us to show our identity card.. Well, being a good civilian, there is no need to scare.. But, unfortunately for a few people who should drop at Kuang station missed (they don't allow people to get off the train until... well, didn't pay attention). No worries.. I get off the station where I'm supposed to get off...

Back to spending part.. I would say I'm a thrifty person.. All my new clothes never exceed RM100 every new year.. However this year, something got into me and just on clothes and pants, i already spent over RM250!! A new experience, but not gonna do that again.. Why? Cause I love my wallet.. In total, I bought myself 2 shirts, (a PADINI and a SEED) a round neck T-shirt (forgot the brand but it ain't cheap) and a pants (SODA).. Gosh, previously, i bought 3 T-shirts and 2 jeans and it cost me less than RM150.. Talking bout inflation...

Then, skip to a few days later. I'm going to KL yet again.. This time with my friends.. We watch Ip Man and it's a pretty darn good movie.. The story is predictable but heck it's a martial arts movie.. All we want is one dude bashing up the others.. Hurray to Donnie Yen.. Great and genuine move.. Then, comes the messed up part.. i though of having a lunch not costing more than RM15 (c'mon it's KL) which then i spend RM20 for that.. Later that day, they all went home around 3pm and we split way where I went and look for a taekwondo equipment shop my friend told me about.. Damn, it ain't easy looking for that shop.. Took me like an hour to look for a shop that I would have reach in 10 minutes if i know the place.. Here i spend another RM185 for my BLACK BELT uniform.. Opps.. I did I say black belt.. XD Haha....... Well, getting black belt is one of my unfulfilled dreams. Can't blame me for wanna ss a little...

As most of my futsal friends knows, my shoes had suffer a great ordeal from playing futsal.. So, i decided to buy a futsal shoe.. Here it cost another RM130.. Normally, i would be buying a shoe less than RM70.. Yet, i easily fork out this money (I would have pay too if this pair of shoe is priced higher than that).. It's because this futsal shoe really captivate my heart.. As if it is saying "buy me... buyyyy meee.." Well, the shoe had a point.. I'm a taekwondo exponent and because of that, I can't help liking that shoe.. Hmmm, why buying a futsal shoe had something to do with takwondo? Well let the picture do the talking...

Oh ya... Its an ADIDAS shoe.. Well, I don't normally buy branded stuff.. But once in a while, it's ok i guess.. I'm really not that stingy anyway... Some more, if it's a thing you really like, it's worth it.. Beware my UTP-ian friends.. The "magician" will be back with his new touch.. (SS-ing..) Muwahaha....

All right, summing up all the stuff I had bought this holiday, RM250+RM185+RM130=RM565.. Wait wait.. That's not all, there is still RM565+RM260(for external hard disk)=RM825.. And this amount didn't include the the fares and the foods... Wow.. My wallet is seriously wounded... T.T

Man... Today is really tiring... Never walked this much for the past few months.. They say you walk a lot in UTP.. Think again!! Well, it's my first day in KL after coming back for sem break. The day starts with Chang Hua and me going around in Times Square. (You didn't want the details how i get there.. Its boring.. well, except a cute chick sit beside me at KTM.. Now now guys, i didn't ask for her phone number) I wanna buy a card.. Well, first, I went to Popular bookstore.. Heck, the card that fits the occasion cost me like rm15~rm19.. After much walking, only then i manage to bought a rm3.90 card.. Wala...

Then, start the messed up part... There will be friends coming from Klang (DG, Branson and new friend Anthony). We've been told to meet at 11am.. But, we meet at around 12.45pm. Then, we walked all the way to Pavilion, for karaoke session.. And, in front of the Red Box, we decided it's too time wasting... Damn.. We go down to eat at the food court, well, lets just say i'll cry at every bite if I eat there.. So, we walked back to Sungei Wang (ya, I know, it is really messed up). We had our lunch there. Cheap and nice. That's how i liked it.. Notice how much of walking is that?? Well, there is more to come.

Next destination.. PC Fair in KLCC.. The reason I came to KL. Well, halfway, we ditched Chang Hua as he wanna buy his coat. Sorry there ya.. Well, in the PC Fair, it's another agony of walkathon.. Well, the redeeming part is (ahem ahem)... Well, lets just say it open the eyes of underage DG from Ipoh.. Well, after much walking, 1 and a half hor later, i got my hands to a 320GB external hard disk which cost RM260.. Man.. All the walking is worth it..

Before parting ways, we meet up with Chang Hua again.. He bought a rm300+ coat... Man.. Hopefully can borrow his coat in the future.. Since it's almost 6, monorail and KTM will be packed like a sardine can.. I ain't wanna be sardine yo... So, i walked to my mum's office at Jalan Raja Chulan. Well, if i dont wanna be sardine, then, i had to walk yo... Oh ya, I bought a pack of sushi at Sungei Wang too before going to KLCC.. Well, since i had time before my mum is going to leave, i eat the sushi.. Ah.. Its really been a long time since I last eat sushi.. There is nothing better than to sit down and enjoy a sushi meal after a walking this much... ^.^

Brotherhood in Pangkor

It's after finals. No more lectures and tutorials to attend.. Hooray.. 5 whole totally free day.

Gosh.. It's not easy doing nothing for 24 hours. Well, luckily, a bunch of my friends had planned a trip to Pulau Pangkor. Oh yeah... On Wednesday morning, 7.45am we start our journey.. But before that i would thanks Chang Yi for giving me a morning call.. Lol..

We go Sitiawan had our breakfast and continue to Lumut.. When we reach the jetty, due to nature call, i had the chance to explore a 50 cents toilet. Man, its huge.. Believe me.. The 50 cents is worth it.

We had reached Pulau Pangkor after travelling about half an hour ride. Now comes the fun part.. Well, well.. since it's an all dudes trip.. C'mon check in so early? Of course we beach crash first.. It noon and we crash the beach, well, do the maths.. "Guys + Noon + Idiocy = Sunburn". Yup, most of us get sunburn..

Then after playing water, eating lunch, we check in into our penthouse.. 20 dudes in a penthouse.. That's interesting..

Later, around 3 something, we all went back to the beach. This time, we play water.. Oh yeah.. Bringing us to another island, we went for snorkeling there.. Man, that fella put us on a sandy beach and asked us to jungle trek to the snorkeling spot.. Jungle trekking bare footed.. Man, that's new.. Man, and our snorkeling spot had sharp rocks too.. In the end of the day, all of us had a fair share of cuts.. Oh ya.. before ending the day, we play banana boat..

Our dinner, we had seafood.. A total of RM300+ for 20 of us.. Well, we had a good meal and forking out an average of 15 per person.. Well, i guess that ok... C'mon man it's seafood.. Watcha expect..

We went back to our penthouse. There, we all joke, play and of course wreck havoc.. Most of us tired, went to sleep around 1am. Single bed and 2 people.. Now now, don't go think something else.. It's just both of us are small in size.. Shouldn't be a problem.. But some of them need to sleep on the floor.. Pity them.. Sorry ya guys..

The next day.. It's goodbye time.. Before leaving, we all wander the town area, buying souvenir and stuff.

By 12pm, it's check out time... :( goodbye.. Sorry for the cleaners.. Our room is so messy, we don't even bother to clean it.. After checking out, we all wait at the lobby for other who is still missing..
